January – Colorado
Enjoy the peak of Winter in Colorado in January where the snow is bountiful and one of its main attractions. You can hit the slopes during your days off and enjoy the snow and mountain scenery of the Rocky Mountains.
February – Louisiana
Louisiana is fun in February because of its well-known Mardi Gras Carnival Celebration. Check out Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, and the St. Louis Cathedral where a lot of history and great architecture can be found.
March – Georgia
If you want a dose of southern hospitality, look no other than making travel plans to Savannah, GA. Enjoy Spring in Savannah where you can enjoy great southern food and beautiful blooming azaleas in the city’s avenues. Also make sure to visit Atlanta, GA where you can visit The Coca Cola Factory and Georgia Aquarium.
April –Arizona
Spring is the best time to be in Arizona because daytime temperatures will reach around 80 degrees while the evenings will be cool down. It is also the best time for hikers to hit the trails where they can spot the blooming cactuses and wildflowers. Make sure to add visiting the Grand Canyon on your bucket list while you’re there. On your days off give yourself some much deserved selfcare with their well-known desert-inspired spa treatments.
May- Michigan
Start preparing for the Summer months to come by visiting Michigan in May where the days begin to warm up and the tulips are blooming in Holland, MI. Visit the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Lake Michigan to admire the beauty of The Great Lakes. If you are an animal lover, make sure to check out the Detroit Zoo. If you love art, make sure to stop by the Detroit Institute of Arts.
June- Maine
The best time to visit Maine is in June where Summers are warm but cool, which makes visiting the beaches very comfortable. Enjoy setting sail on the water or visiting the beautiful lighthouses and parks. If you’re a lover of seafood, definitely enjoy yourself some Maine lobsters while you’re here.
July- Minnesota
The sunniest month in Minnesota is in July. You can enjoy the great outdoors like the Minnehaha Falls or visit The Chain of Lakes, which holds five of the largest lakes in Minneapolis. Get your exercise in during your days off by strolling or biking through shoreline paths or rent a canoe or kayak. You can also shop until you drop and visit the Mall of America where clothing is tax free!
August- Washington
The best time to enjoy Seattle, WA in all its glory is in August where it is the best time to enjoy beautiful summer weather. Don’t forget to check out The Space Needle while you’re there so you can catch a breathtaking view of the city.
September- Montana
Enjoy warm weather in Montana during the month of September without it being scorching hot, which will help make it easier to enjoy visiting the Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks. You will also be able to enjoy the beautiful views without the summer crowd getting in your way. If you’re luck you may even catch some early fall colors.
October- Indiana
Enjoy Fall in Indiana where the sunny days are shining but the humidity will not get in your way. During your days off, get your steps in while taking a hike at Indiana Dunes National Park, which offers breathtaking views you don’t want to miss a photo op with. Pick up some fresh produce from one of the many farms and orchards.
November – Florida
Escape the winter months by traveling to Florida where the sunshine state will bring you warm weather in November. Enjoy the beach on your days off or visit the various attractions that calls Florida home like Disneyworld, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld. With plenty to do, you can count on a new adventure every week you’re there.
December- New York
Although New York is great every time of the year, there is nowhere like New York City in December. With the holiday season in full bloom, you can count on New York to welcome you with open arms and make you feel like home. From holiday lights, ice skating, and a chance of snow you are bound to find something to do and enjoy while you are here and help bring you cheer.
