Thanksgiving and Holiday Travel Tips

The holiday season is upon us and it’s time to gear up and prepare yourself for heavy traffic and fully booked flights especially with more people traveling this Thanksgiving season. While it may be a nuisance to travel during the holiday season, it can still be done. Follow some of our tips to help you get through the holiday season.

Plan a Head

Don’t wait until last minute to book your flight. Make sure you to take advantage of great deals being offered in advanced. As a White Glove employee, you can score great travel deals with Tickets at Work.

Don’t Overpack

Save time and money by limiting yourself when it comes to traveling. Have your gifts shipped ahead of time and choose clothes that aren’t as bulky. Utilize the free toiletries at the hotel and or wait until you get to your destination to purchase them.

Choose When to Travel

Consider flying in a few days before the holiday to ensure you not only get there on time but also to help avoid the rush and crowd of travelers who usually fly in the day before or day of.

Use Those Points!

Do you have points and/or miles you’ve racked up? Go ahead and use those up to help save you money. That way you can have more money to use on that holiday gift list you need to tackle.

Leave Early

Don’t wait until the last second to leave that door. Prepare for traffic and long security lines by leaving your home with enough time so that you can relax at the gate before your flight.
